Since there aren't that many informations about EVW01, here are the questions of todays examination.
7 detail questions. Chose five (5) of them and answer with approximately 50 words. 7 points for each question, 35 points at all:
1. Describe the concept of "credit" by using economical terms.
2. What is a cartel? Why are they formed? Why do they often fail?
3. List the production factors and give an example for each factor.
4. Social policy is often described as a compromise between efficiency and fairness. (This was really not formed as a question
)5. What factors needs to be considered when an industrial company chooses a location. (Meant was a regional position, the place where it is situated)
6. What are the differences in attitude and motivation of the american and european (or was it german?) workforce.
7. What are the intentions / ideas of the EU / Maastricht treaty.
8. Describe the strategy of downsizing in the context of globalisation.
4 essay questions. Pick one (1) topic and write an essay of about 350 words. 25 points:
1. Describe the business cycle. Describe the happenings during a recession and the possible countermeasures.
2. Summarize the problems of developing countries.
3. ????
4. ????
I can't remember the other two essay topics. The wording of the questions may not be exact, especially of the ones I didn't pick. But the meaning of the questions should be reproduced sufficiently.

Das Seminar war recht gut. Der Professor hat recht viele interessante Themen über die Hefte hinaus angesprochen, speziell aus seinem eigenen Fachgebiet. Da der Dozent auch jeweils die Prüfung stellt, war es auch als Prüfungsvorbereitung ok.
Die Hefte sollte man allerdings unbedingt vorher durchgearbeitet haben. Das gilt vor allem für die Studenten aus den Sprachlehrgängen, auf einige der Grundlagen wurde nicht so im Detail eingegangen.
Für alle BWL-Studenten: Ein vernünftiges Englischniveau sollte vorhanden sein, da man sonst dem Seminar nicht zwingend folgen kann. Wenn man die Hefte verstanden hat, reicht das aber. In der Prüfung wird gem. Aussage des Dozenten mehr wert auf Inhalt als auf Englisch gelegt. Euer geschriebener Text sollte aber verständlich sein und ihr solltet darauf achten, dass ihr keine Sprach- oder Grammatikfehler macht, die die Bedeutung verändern.
Insgesamt fand ich die Prüfung, auch zeitlich, durchaus machbar. Hängt aber von eurem Englischniveau und volkswirtschaftlichem Grundverständnis ab.
